Can we reschedule lessons that fall on scheduled studio closures?
No. Dates marked as Scheduled Studio Closure are pre-scheduled, studio-wide closures. Instruction does not occur, and make-ups or tuition credits are not provided for those dates, per studio policy.
Can I reschedule a lesson that falls on a studio recital day?
Yes—make-up lessons are offered for lessons rescheduled due to studio recitals.
When else am I eligible to reschedule?
Make-up lessons are only offered according to studio policy for lessons canceled with proper notice on scheduled instructional days that are not studio closures. Tuition credits are very rare and are possible only if the instructor is completely unable to accommodate a reschedule, or if the instructor is away on a non pre-scheduled day.
Do all students get the same number of lessons?
Yes. The annual calendar is designed so instructional days are distributed as evenly as possible across weekdays. Each student typically receives about 42 lessons out of roughly 48 instructional weeks (July is closed and not included in tuition).
Why doesn’t tuition change in months with studio closures?
Tuition is a flat monthly fee, not calculated per lesson. Some months may have 3 or 5 lessons; the average is about 4. The rate stays the same—similar to school tuition or memberships with built-in closures.
